The Manoverboard Team
Manoverboard is a small studio doing big things for amazing organizations and corporations. It consists of three individuals along with a supporting crew of talented programmers, writers, and other creatives in Canada and the United States.
Andrew Boardman
Andrew is the founder, lead designer and driving force behind Manoverboard.
Andrew received a BA magna cum laude in Art and English from Brown University. He holds an MFA from the University of Albany and received a Fulbright Fellowship to bridge visual culture and social history in Poland. While living in New York for nearly eleven years, Andrew received a prestigious NYFA Fellowship for painting. He currently resides in Winnipeg.
Andrew was previously Director of Research at Oven Digital, an international Web design company headquartered in New York. During that time, Andrew worked on the first ecommerce site for Tiffany & Co. and was involved with noteworthy clients including The City of New York, Kodak, Consumer Reports and IBM. Andrew worked at the Rockefeller Foundation for five years directing research for a leadership development program fostering democracy and civil society.
“Saving the world one design at a time” is Andrew's personal mission—and not simply a tagline at the top of his website. He serves on the board of the provincial chapter of the Graphic Designers of Canada and serves in the community in numerous capacities.
Daniel Lamb
Daniel is an award-winning designer with experience in web and print design, motion graphic production, 3D animation and compositing, and interactive touch-screen programming. He commands pen and ink in combination with nearly every digital drawing tool, and is a strong advocate of continuous learning.
Daniel has taught design and is an avid photographer, bicyclist, and climber.
Michael Barrish
Michael brings over a decade of front-end coding and usability experience to Manoverboard. He has world-class skills in CSS, HTML, and related best practices.
Michael provides clients with information architecture clarity, a sharp design eye, and big doses of levity and reality-based thinking.
We Believe
We're passionate about helping clients achieve success. We believe in usable and functional design solutions. We believe that websites should be accessible to everyone. And we value close collaboration.
