I truly enjoyed working with you and want to thank you again for your attention to details, great design sense, and patience with us as we discovered the kind of report we actually wanted to create. I hope to be able to work with you again soon.

The Research Initiative on Social Entrepreneurship (RISE) program, a project of Columbia Business School, asked MANOVERBOARD in 2003 to design and develop its initial report on the emerging market of social entrepreneurship. Incorporating a range of complex, new visual and written data, the RISE Capital Market Report: The Double Bottom Line Private Equity Landscape in 2002/2003 featured meticulous information design and a minimal palette. The report was built so that it could be easily understood by both the business practitioner and the casual reader.

In 2006, RISE, in conjunction with Investors Circle and the Social Venture Network, requested that MANOVERBOARD design a follow-up document, called the RISE For-Profit Social Entrepreneur Report: Balancing Markets and Values. The report featured 66 pages of text, charts, graphs, and tabular data and was distributed to many hundreds of academics and practitioners throughout North America.

Both reports can be downloaded in full at the RISE website.
